What Are You Speaking Over Your Life?

Life is in the power of your words. What are you speaking over your life right now? Are your words aligned with the future you desire or are they reinforcing the very things you're trying to overcome?

If you believe you can become a homeowner, speak it. If you believe you can build wealth, speak it. If you believe you can start the business, purchase the investment property, pay off debt, or create a new chapter for yourself and your family, speak it.

Write the Vision

Speaking it is powerful, but writing it down creates clarity. I am a firm believer that when you write the vision, you give it direction. What lives in your mind becomes something tangible when it is put on paper.

Don't just write the goal. Write the outcome(what does success look like?), the reason(what is your WHY?), and the impact it will have on your life.

Then ask yourself: What needs to happen for this vision to become reality?

Create Tasks That Align With the Vision

Dreams become reality through action. Once you've written the vision, identify the top 3–5 tasks that move you closer to the goal. Not everything is urgent, but some things are necessary.

Want to purchase a home? Your tasks may include:

• Reviewing your budget

• Improving your credit profile

• Saving for reserves

• Meeting with a lender

Want to build wealth? Your tasks may include:

• Creating an investment strategy

• Paying down high-interest debt

• Increasing income

Small actions repeated consistently create momentum.

Put a Date Beside It

A goal without a date often becomes a wish. When you assign a target date, you create accountability. You begin making decisions based on where you're going instead of where you've been.

Ask yourself: "When do I want this accomplished?" Then work backward and create milestones along the way(reverse plan).

Change the Behaviors

This is where growth happens. Many people want different results while holding on to the same habits, routines, and thought patterns that created their current situation.

To achieve something you've never had, you may need to become someone you've never been.

That means:

• Replacing excuses with execution

• Choosing discipline over convenience

• Staying committed when motivation fades

• Taking responsibility for your progress

Growth requires change.
